Time flies, and all of a sudden, its July!
Not sure if you’re like me…. and think WOW before we know it, Christmas will be here!
July is over halfway through the year!
And with summer in full swing there’s so many fun things to focus on, instead of being trapped in old habits.
As this is written, I hope you're getting in some nice downtime and enjoying some of all the wonderful things life has to offer.
Do you ever ponder on exactly what you're focusing on day-to-day?
If not, take a few minutes, with intention and think about what’s been on your mind the last week or two?
From my own experiences, I understand that sometimes our mind is flooded with thoughts of what could go wrong, or what did go wrong. It’s okay to spend some time there, just don’t take up permanent residence in that space.
Too much time obsessing on what could, did, or will go wrong will cause anxiety and fear.
The opposite of what we want to create.
Something important for you to know, your focus and energy is something YOU control.
It can be easier said than done BUT building your mindset muscle over time will empower you beyond your wildest imagination.
Knowing how to guide your focus and manage your energy is a key part of what allows you to achieve amazing things.
Here's a simple truth:
where your focus goes, your energy flows.
If you want success in any aspect of your life, then focus on the right things, your energy flows to that thought and will help you achieve your goals.
YOUR ENERGY CAN AND WILL FLOW where you direct it and that can be a game-changer.
In other words, if you're laser-focused on something,
good or bad,
you'll be naturally more energetic and motivated to keep going.
If you're distracted, unfocused, or just not really engaged in what you're doing, then your accomplishments will suffer.
Keep your mind sharpened as you strive to achieve a goal or wish —so that no matter what else is going on around us at any given moment, you are moving toward what you want in your life.
Let's face it: there's always something going on that can distract you.
But, you can still see clearly and get things done efficiently.
It takes practice but I promise you can grow your focus muscle.
We've all been there.
Especially in widowhood. #widowbrain
You know that feeling when you've got a ton of work to do, and everything seems hard and out of reach? You're working hard—you're making progress—but it still feels like it’s not enough.
It's easy to be distracted by what's going on around us, but it doesn't have to be this way—make the choice to focus on your goals and live the life you want to live!
If you’re not feeling energized and on track to getting the things you want in your life, maybe it’s time to take a look at your goals.
What is it really that you want to achieve?
In my coaching sessions, I help widowed women set and reach their goals by helping them gain clarity on what they want and why they want it.
Then we get to work on attaining those goals and dreams.
It’s that simple.
For me, accountability and support are massively helpful. Without my own coach, I’d be a scattered mess.

Three things you can do to sharpen your focus today are: 1. Write a wildly long list of all the things your heart desires to be, do, and have.
2. Prioritize the list into 3 categories: This week. This month. This year.
